Through the various career transitions my life has taken over the years, one of the central themes has always been the enjoyment of people. This has now led me to what I now feel is my life’s true passion – working with people to help them save their stories before they are lost forever to the passing of time.
It is such an honor to have the opportunity to work with individuals and families, getting to know them and helping them “create their gift of a lifetime –their life story.” And every project, whether a life story, home tour, or collection is totally unique!
Quality for each project is very important! Therefore, I choose to work
on only one project at a time. This way I can become totally immersed
in you, the client as well as the creativity needed to successfully film
and edit. “I will keep my focus on you, until your project is completed.”
My past experiences are varied. I have been a teacher, counselor in private practice, entrepreneur, as well as a creator and developer of
a number of innovative programs.
I have always been very involved with the greater Utica, NY community. I am an Honorary Life Member of the Mohawk Valley Business Women’s Network, having been with the group since its creation twenty seven years ago. I have co-chaired several Women’s History Week programs; EveryWoman’s Days; and a Bridging Generations Conference, as well as establishing a program for Displaced Workers at Mohawk Valley Community College. Most recently, I had the pleasure of working as program director and newsletter editor with a local Senior Center.
Since saving personal history became my mission, I have joined the Association of Personal Historians, serving on two committees in that organization. I have also attended two of their annual conferences in Portland, OR and Nashville, TN and will soon be traveling to Salt Lake City, UT- the genealogy center of the world.
I encourage you to visit the “client portfolio and testimonials link” and read what some of my clients have had to
say about their experiences with my company Stories of a Lifetime. Call or email me and I will be glad to talk with you about your ideas for your special project!
